Golden Flatts Primary School

Trinity North East have had the pleasure of working with Golden Flatts Primary School this year. The process started with a meeting with the Headteacher and Leadership team from Golden Flatts to establish the areas of focus for staff training and also look at the options for delivery. It was agreed that the majority of the delivery would take place at Golden Flatts Primary School and the staff training would then culminate in a training day at Cardinal Hume Catholic School for all the staff from Golden Flatts. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Golden Flatts Primary School and we hope that this will be a relationship that will continue in the future.

The course was a good range of theory and practical group activities as well as videos of lessons and lesson observations in school.

It’s been a great learning experience – I’ve learnt lots of things which I’m going to use back at school.

Thank you very much, it has been excellent  – well thought out and well delivered! The time in classrooms was very good and the children were a credit to the school. A massive thank you to all involved.

Whickham School and Sports College

From the initial meeting to identify out specific T&L needs as a school to the well planned bespoke two day training programme for staff covering elements of pedagogy together with the mentoring and coaching model, I can not fault the dedication shown towards supporting us to improve. The 13 staff who attended the training arrived back in school inspired and full of good ideas to share.  We launched the coaching model in January and already have a considerable number of staff who have put themselves forward to be coached in an area of their teaching whilst other staff have freely opened their doors to colleagues for diagnostic observations. There is now definitely an ethos of shred CPD among staff.
